  1. No contact details or address 🚩
  2. I can recall the 11-46 tooth casettes. The jump between last two cogs was too much, and reduced the cassette to a 11-42. Also would recommend a 32 front chain ring.
  3. What bike was advertised and misrepresented?
  4. Also had a courier for a much cheaper price between Cycle Lab shops. Think it costed around R750
  5. Between Cyclelab branches is the cheapest. Unfortunately, it’s not to your door.
  6. Try to match this by Midas or some car parts business like Goldwagen ect. Worth a try. Just bring the belt with you and they can measure it against a generic part they may have.
  7. Definitely pre-owned. You will definitely find a package with all your intended upgrades included in a second hand bike, as opposed to a standard bike. Furthermore, Specialized Epics are Fact 11R carbon, one tier lower than the S-Works Fact 12R carbon. Unless you are a racing snake, the difference between the two carbon is negligible.
  8. Giants value for the price will definitely persuade a lot of people to choose this over the equivalent spec Specialized.
  9. Looks really good!
  10. Not necessarily, go to small claims court. No legal representation allowed, quick and fast process. All the company information should be in the invoice, such as company name, registration number, VAT no. ect. Serve your papers by email. Check the T&C's or "contract" for the race entry to foresee what possible defense may be raised regarding refunds.
  11. I have a first ascent hydration pack (2L). Personally, has the best blend for cycling and (trail) running. Also allows for those plastic bottles in the two shoulder straps in the front, aside from the 2L bladder in the bag.
  12. I was going to advise the same! Alternatively, since they so proud of their insurance ombudsman stats, maybe put them on terms to advise of your intention to challenge the repudiation of your claim with the short term insurance ombudsman. I'm sure they will revert to cover your claim. If they decide to only cover a portion thereof after they initially repudiated your claim, I would still proceed with the ombudsman to claim the full amount of your claim.
  13. Check the Stolen Bikes section on this website, maybe the owner of the potentially stolen bike has listed it for your reference.
  14. I’ve had both Scalpel and Supercaliber, get the latter but be aware of the front shock you get with the bike! Nothing worse than a “premium” bike and price tag without the “premium” shock.
  15. Thanks man, practically a new bike again!
  16. Ask and you shall receive 🤣 Dual Suspension MTB: https://bikehub.co.za/classifieds/item/dual-suspension-bikes/842344/specialized-epic-axs-medium I have the mechanical XO eagle derailleur and GX shifter to suit your budget, if necessary.
  17. Hi @HdB, I just posted power meter pedals, let me know if you interested. They can be used for both road and gravel. I'm changing to the mountain bike version as I need something more robust for pedal strikes against rocks. https://bikehub.co.za/classifieds/item/power-meters/849085/favero-assioma-power-pedals-uno
  18. I have one for sale: https://bikehub.co.za/classifieds/item/dual-suspension-bikes/842344/specialized-epic-axs-medium
  19. Maxxis Ikon’s, fast rolling centre with good side knobs for cornering. You will get a lot of milege out of them. Especially on tar. For top Fuel, go for 2.35’s.
  20. Looked like everyone had an awesome day out on the bike!
  21. I do my yearly shop when they have their awesome sale 😁
